Description
This is a project I completed some time ago during my Maya fundamentals class, where we were tasked with creating a mechanical creature. For my project, I decided to draw inspiration from a manatee, combining its gentle, flowing form with mechanical elements.
My aim was to capture the essence of the manatee while infusing it with a futuristic twist. I focused on integrating features that reflected both its natural grace and the intricacies of mechanical design. This included smooth curves and streamlined shapes that mimic the manatee's body, alongside metallic textures and joints that highlight its mechanical nature.

Reflection
Reflecting on this project, I appreciate how it challenged me to think about the relationship between organic forms and mechanical structures, and I look forward to applying these lessons to future designs.
